Template Version History

Every template has a Schema Version in its first row. The validator rejects templates from an older version (error E-14), so download fresh templates when a new version is released.

Version 3.37 (current)

Three templates changed in this version:

Basic Study Design

  • New optional Planned Public Release Date column in the Study Descriptors section.
  • New optional Contract/Grant section for funding information.

Human Subjects

  • Gender column renamed to Sex.
  • Allowed values: Female, Male, Other, Prefer Not to Answer, Unknown (lk_human_sex).

Animal Subjects

  • Gender column renamed to Sex.
  • Allowed values: Female, Male, Other, Unknown (lk_animal_sex).

All other templates changed only their version number. You can keep using a 3.36 copy of those templates, as long as you change the Schema Version in the first row to 3.37 before uploading.
